The Drystone-Wall School to be organized and operate within the project aims at training farmers and craftsmen from Andros and other Cycladic islands in restoring drystone constructions, such as terrace walls, trails and any type of drystone elements occurring on terraces; the school aims also to focus on methods and materials for the cultivation of terraced land.
The School will run training workshops, meetings, laboratories and other informative events related to drystone constructions, as well as the agro-nutritional sector of Andros, including beekeeping.
The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Commission.
