This is a set of Good Practices that have emerged from the implementation of the project’s actions, as well as from the expertise of the Research team. The aim of the Good Practice Guide is to be studied by professional an amateur farmers of Andros and other islands. The use of the practices described below will lead farmers to a sustainable crop that conforms to the new trend that requires agriculture adapted to the conditions posed by climate change. The guidelines refer to terrace cultivation, but can be applied to other types of fields as well. In addition to the Good Practices, this guide also includes examples of their application to the crops: barley, vetch, grass pea, onion, and oregano.
